Kym Riley is a registered Clinical Psychologist and Accredited EMDR practitioner with over 15 years experience. She works with adolescents and adults in Gisborne, Victoria and offers online zoom appointments. Kym has a specific interest in - assessing neurodivergence (ASD and ADHD) in adolescents and adults. She has a particular understanding of how neurodivergence is presented in females. - providing psychological support, including EMDR, to neurodivergent individuals and/or chronic illness (such as ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, neurodivergent burnout, and related health conditions such as Hypermobility, POTS, and MCAS). ASSESSING NEURODIVERGENCE
Kym offers formal ASD/ADHD and general mental health diagnostic assessments for children and adolescents (11 years + only) and adults. The assessment process usually involves four appointments. There are numerous questionnaires to complete as part of the process. A report is included in the assessment process. Availability (Updated July 2026):Kym is accepting new referrals for formal ASD/ADHD and general mental health diagnostic assessments for 2026. The current wait time for an initial formal assessment appointment is 4-6 weeks. PSYCHOLOGICAL THERAPY

For further information about fees and processes or to be added to the waiting list, please email your full name, dob, reason for therapy to admin@kymrileypsychology.com.au GENERAL REFERRALS Kym offers general psychological therapy support for adolescents (aged 16 years and over only) and adults. Kym is experienced in delivering a range of evidence-based psychological interventions including: • Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy - including Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy• Mindfulness Interventions •. Behavioural and parenting interventions All of these interventions (including EMDR) can be delivered in person or online through zoom. REFERRALS SPECIFIC TO ONLINE EMDR FOR INDIVIDUALS LIVING WITH ME/CFS OR LONG COVID Kym offers specific EMDR support for individuals living with ME/CFS or Long COVID. Although research is still in its early stages, there are indications that EMDR can benefit individuals living with ME/CFS or long COVID. The purpose of this program is to support an individual’s nervous system by reducing stress through EMDR. Eligibility for this program:• Diagnosis of ME/CFS or Long Covid or showing signs of ME/CFS or Long COVID (in the process of seeking a medical assessment)• Adolescents aged 14 plus, and adults • Able to commit to 10 online zoom sessions Session 1-2 Initial AssessmentSession 2-3 Review of current ME/CFS and Long-COVID non-pharmaceutical strategies, psycho-education and EMDR preparation Session 4-8 EMDR processing sessionsSession 9-10 Follow up sessions Therapy Fees Please note: in recognition of making the fees accessible to people, the below fees which are set are below the current recommended fee by the Australian Psychological Society (which is $318 for a standard 50 minute consultation). A standard therapy 50 minute appointment full fee is $240. Concession fee is $205. Medicare Rebates with a GP MHCP are approximately $149.05, applied for ten sessions in a calendar year. NDIS fees are set by the NDIS (https://www.ndis.gov.au/providers/pricing-and-payments/pricing/pricing-arrangements-and-price-limits). Cancellation Policy If you cancel an appointment giving at least 24 hours notice - no cancellation fee.If you cancel an appointment less than 24 hours notice - 100% of the consultation fee.

Referrals Kym accepts - private self-referrals - GP Mental Health Care Plan Referrals - GP Chronic Condition Referrals * Kym does not accept referrals for writing Court or Legal Reports or TAC. National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Kym can see clients who self-manage or plan-manage their NDIS plan. Private Health Insurance Private health insurance rebates may apply. Please check with your private health insurer to enquire about rebates for Psychology.
